Sept 1 - Fall Schedule to be released shortly

Due to some land use issues and event conflicts we are re-doing the fall schedule. Unfortunately it wont work this fall to have events at Gopher Dunes and Walton like we had hoped but we are working with those property owners on securing dates for the 2011 season. They are looking forward to being involved in this exciting series. Please keep an eye on this site for the announcment on the remaining events which will take place between end of Sept and early November.

Aug 22 - Wingham Round a winner

The Dirtybikes.ca crew put on another great event today at a new location. The property was a perfect venue for a Cross Country event. It was a mix of tight, technical woods with a fast GP style MX track which gave both the woods riders and MX guys something to smile about. In the afternoon class Chris Van Hove put his Suzuki on the top step of the Pro podium followed by Machine Racing's Adam Millson on the Yamaha and Kevin Cockayne on KTM. Aug 21 - St Thomas round cancelled

Due to an unfortunate land use issue the St Thomas round has been cancelled. There will be a replacement date & location for this event so keep an eye on this site for details. The final rounds and dates for the fall series will be confirmed in the next two weeks.

Aug 16 - Ontario Cross Country Championship Spring Series Champions

World Enduro Canada and Wiesner Insurance would like to congratulate all our Champions from the Ontario Cross Country Championship Spring Series.  The number one plates will be handed out this weekend in Wingham at the first round in our Fall Series.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!!!

Photographer Alexandra Franklin will be capturing the action for her business,Photos by Alex, at select Ontario Cross Country Championship events and the Eastern CEC events this fall. If you see a lovely gal with a camera in the woods get your elbows up and put on your best race face to create the shot you can brag about!!

July 14 - Ant Hill Classic

The Crew from KW Cycle Sport put on another fantastic event. The course is one of the longer and more technical in the WEC Ontario Cross Country Championship. For more details and photos check out Offroadmotorcycles.ca

June 20 - Moto Park Cross Country a success

Over 100 riders showed up to race at Moto Park in Chatsworth today. The course was a fast loop and there was some great battles in many of the classes. In the Pro class Brian Wojnarowski, Fancis Ouimette, and Chris Van Hove has a three way battle going for the first hour until Wojo found a way to put some distance between himself and the others. June 14 - Round #2 in Burnt River a huge success!

All the riders & spectators who made the trip east to the Burnt River Off Road Motorcycle facility were treated to a fantastic course and some great racing action. The rain quit on Saturday and made for a wet challenging course - a few bikes watered out. Yamaha's Brian Wojnarowski took home the Pro win and the $100 Wiesner Insurance Holeshot award. At every round of the Ontario Cross Country Championships Dan Paris will be presenting a Weekend Warrior award to a deserving rider. At round #1 in Pt Colborne last weekend it was presented to a rider from Windsor who made the long trip only to break his foot. Details

May 3 - Wiesner Insurance Holeshot award

Wiesner Insurance will be putting $100 up for grabs at each of the Ontario Cross Country Championship events. The Pro rider who gets the holeshot will be awarded the cash at the podium ceremony. Time to practice your starts boys!!

Apr 9 - Ross Rocher Sales and Apex Cycle sponsor Ontario Cross Country Championship

World Enduro Canada is very pleased to have secured support from two of Ontario's top Off Road focused motorcycle dealers - Ross Rocher Sales in Stratford (Husqvarna & Husaberg)and Apex Cycle Sport (KTM & Ducati & Aprillia) in Waterloo. Both of these dealers make it a point to cater to the needs of off road riders and we are excited to have their support behind the new Ontario Cross Country Championship. In order to compete in this series riders will need a transponder for the electronic scoring system available for $40. When riders purchase their transponder they will recieve a $20 gift certificate from each of these dealers making them esentially FREE. We want to encourage riders to support these dealers that support us. Please stop by their shops and make it a point to thank them for supporting the series you compete in.
